For your comfort, our specialists have developed tourist routes in Transcarpathia, taking into account the complexity of the routes and the level of training of tourists. Easier routes are designed for beginners and can be walked independently. And on routes of a higher level of difficulty, we recommend going with at least minimal training and using the services of an instructor.

Here are the options available for you:

Route 1️⃣ Voevodyno – Ski Track – Berezia – Voevodyno

If you’re looking to explore forest paths, breathe in fresh mountain air, and gather mushrooms and berries, Route 1 is perfect for you.

This walk begins at the ski track, winds through the forest, follows a mountain stream, and concludes near Berezia — a name derived from the Ukrainian word “bereza” (which means birch). Along the way, you’ll enjoy the gentle rustle of birch leaves, the melody of forest birds, and the serene beauty of nature, providing a deep sense of peace.

Route length: 4 km

Estimated duration: Up to 1.5 hours

Route 2️⃣ Voevodyno – Berezyny

This route is perfect for those who want to immerse themselves in endless fields, enjoy the fragrance of wildflowers, and feel the embrace of silky grasses. The path takes you through ancient hayfields and pastures, now partially covered by forest and bushes.

As you walk, you can gather a variety of wildflowers and medicinal plants. During the season, you might also find mushrooms and berries, or simply relax in the soft grass. A highlight of this route is a spring, known locally as a “stuinyk,” providing refreshing drinking water.

You can choose the duration of your hike, but we recommend not exceeding two hours.

Route length: Up to 5 km

Estimated duration: Up to 2 hours

Route 3️⃣ Voevodyno – Schönborn Park – Ivan’s Forest – Svynarky – Pohar – Voevodyno

This challenging route is perfect for those who thrive on extremes.

If you’re ready to tackle a forest path with winding serpentines, steep ascents, and descents, this route is for you. The strenuous climb rewards you with breathtaking views of the Turyan Valley, the Volcanic Ridge, and the Borzhava Ridge. A standout feature of this route is the spring known as White Stuinyk.

The name stuinyk refers to a small spring, but why is it white? With its crystal-clear water, it has been a local source for over 200 years. The term “White” symbolizes purity, reflecting the pristine quality of the water. Visitors often enjoy a refreshing drink from this ancient source. Along the way, you might also encounter wildlife, and if you’re lucky, you can gather mushrooms and forest berries.

Route length: Up to 10 km

Estimated duration: Up to 4 hours

Route 4️⃣ Voevodyno – Schönborn Park – Ivan’s Forest – Svynarky – Pohar – Voevodyno – Makovytsia

This amazing route is a real treat for nature lovers. Climbing up from Schönborn Park, you will see beautiful views, discover a meadow covered with lilies of the valley, admire the interesting shapes of trees, and enjoy birdsong all the way. Upon reaching the summit of Makovytsia, you’ll find the air incredibly pure and fresh, with picturesque mountain landscapes unfolding before you. From this vantage point, you can see the Yavirnyk Ridge, the peaks of Khomiak, Syniak, Dovbushanka, and even the majestic Hoverla and Petros. These awe-inspiring views invite you to linger and bask in the beauty of nature.
