What to see in Transcarpathia in autumn: route to 3 days from Vojvodina
Autumn is a great time to see Transcarpathia from different angles: walk through golden forests, taste local cheeses and wines, relax in vats, and discover unusual places.
If you choose to travel Voevodyno, you can combine a vacation at the resort with short trips around Transcarpathia. Here is one option for a three-day route.
Day 1. Vojvodino — nature, farm and SPA
Leave the first day to explore the resort itself.
Start with a walk Schönborn Park: in autumn it is especially beautiful to walk here among the golden forest, near the lake and along the park alleys.
After your walk, visit Grandfather of the Farm — meet the animals, see how the farm lives, and learn more about the journey of products from farm to table.
And you can end the day at the SPA: a swimming pool, hammam, massages, and a warm evening at the restaurant - without having to go anywhere.
Day 2. Perechyn — cheese, nature and Lumshory
Dedicate the second day to the surroundings of Vojvodina.
Start with Perechyn Manufactory — here you can see the process of creating craft cheese and taste its different varieties.
Then go to Lavender Mountains — even in the fall, it's a nice stop for a walk and photos.
And we recommend finishing the route in LumshorakhA hot tub amidst the Carpathian nature is a particularly pleasant format for a cool autumn day.
Day 3. Transcarpathian wine and gastronomy
The third day can be devoted to winemaking.
Go to Chateau Chizayto learn more about Transcarpathian winemaking and taste local wines.
Another option is Stakhovsky Wines "Ace&W by Stakhovsky", where you can learn about the history of winemaking and taste wines aged in French oak barrels.
And on the way or after tasting, take a sweet break in Valentin & Valentina Shtefanyo confectionery house — coffee and dessert will be a pleasant end to the gastronomic route.
If you have more time
Three days is just one option. You can add to your itinerary Deer farm in Iza, Snail farm, Highland Ranch or visit for local honey at "Turyanska Bee".
And if you want to spend more time in nature, Voyevodyno has a park, horseback riding, Didko Farm, and other opportunities to spend the day without leaving the resort area.
Transcarpathia in autumn is not about having time to see everything.
It's about a few well-chosen places, beautiful roads, local flavors, and evenings when after the trip you can return to Vojvodino, warm up in the SPA, and simply enjoy the Carpathians.
