A story where its main character hides among the green hills - a favorite of the resort's guests, a cheerful, inquisitive and very cheerful tourist named Turenya.

A mischievous and dreamer, a tireless inventor and the best friend of children, he became the ambassador of "Voyevodyno". Turenya has long lived in adventure books, in children's smiles, in coloring books, stickers, quests and, of course, in every little discovery that happens to a child at the resort.

Yet, despite all the adventures, fun, and fabulous pages of his life, we felt that Turen's story was missing one special moment. One that would bring all his friends together and give the joy of waiting for a new family tradition. That's how the idea came to give our restless Turen not just a day, but his own birthday...

How did Turenya end up at Voyevodyno?

In ancient times, until the middle of the 19th century, wild European bulls - aurochs - lived in the territory of the modern Turyanska Valley, where "Voyevodyno" is now located. Ancient historical chronicles mention them as powerful, muscular giants weighing up to 800 kilograms and up to two meters tall, who personified the power of nature, the free and independent spirit of the Carpathian mountains and forests. Today, these extinct giants have relatives among the American bison, Hungarian gray cows and Indian buffaloes.

According to legend, it is from these proud giants that the name of the entire Turyanska Valley and the village of Turya Pasika, neighboring the resort, comes. They also say that our Turenya is also one of the "descendants" of those ancient bulls-turs that once roamed this area.

They say that he settled in "Voyevodyno" not by chance. Here, among the mountains, forests, lakes and rivers, Turenya found space for his rich adventures, curious ideas and funny antics. He became not only a fairy-tale character from stickers and coloring books with his adventures, but a true friend and ambassador of fun and caring recreation for children and even adults.

Birthday of a fairy tale tradition

This is also a symbolic date, close to the birth of the first coloring book "The Adventures of Turenya in Voyevodyno", which was published in late August 2022.
