Debrecen

Debrecen is located in the eastern part of Hungary and is the second most populous city after Budapest. The first mention of Debrecen dates back to 1235. This is a very picturesque city, the architecture of which impresses with its beauty and grandeur.

• Main building of Debrecen University;

• Red Church;

• Deri Museum, where you can see a rich collection of paintings, ethnological and archaeological exhibits;

• Hotel "Golden Bull", which is the oldest in Hungary.

In addition, Debrecen is considered a resort city, because it is home to the Nadjerdjo Thermal Park, where all the spa centers of the city are concentrated. And not far from Debrecen is Hortobad National Park - a reserve protected by UNESCO.

In Debrecen, you can taste various dishes of national cuisine. For example, paprikash - stewed chicken meat with spices or chalasle - a dish made of several types of fish and potatoes.

Miskolc

Miskolc is located in the north-east of Hungary and stands on the Shayo River. The main attraction of this city is the Miskolc-Tapolca cave bath. There you can swim in thermal pools or water caves, as well as soak in warm mineral baths. The swimming pool has both open and closed areas.

• Calvinist church in the Gothic style, which was built in 1410;

• Greek Orthodox Church, where the famous iconostasis of 1783 is located;
