Vacationing in the Carpathians with a dog

Generally, traveling with cats isn’t much of a hassle. They’re fairly low-maintenance pets; all they really need is their owner nearby to feed, pet, and play with them when they choose to engage. When they’re not seeking attention, they’ll likely curl up for a nap on the bed or windowsill.

On the other hand, if you’re planning a trip to the Carpathians with a dog, you’ll need to devote a bit more attention to your furry friend. But think of the joy they’ll experience! The essentials are space to roam, new scents to explore, and, of course, your companionship. They’ll happily join you on hikes and bike rides, during excursions, and provide warmth on chilly winter nights.

To help your pet adjust quickly to a new environment and ensure a comfortable stay at the Voevodyno hotel, we recommend bringing along all the essentials from home, including:

• utensils and food;
• toiletries;
• wet wipes to wipe paws after a walk;
• sleeping couch, bedding for rest and toys;
• cat carrier;
• leash and muzzle for dogs;
• cleaning bags.

Before heading to the Carpathians with pets, check that all vaccinations are up-to-date and that your pet has a microchip in case they get lost.

We recommend renting a ground-floor room in the hotel to make walks easier and not disturb other guests. The best option would be to choose a cottage. Voevodyno offers a wide selection of comfortable cottages with terraces located at the forest’s edge, providing ample space and minimal neighbors. A vacation in such a wonderful place will bring you and your pet many positive emotions.

Requirements and prices for staying at Voevodyno Resort with pets

To ensure an enjoyable vacation with your pets, we kindly ask that you follow a few simple rules:

• Accommodation for fighting dog breeds is not allowed.
• The weight of your pet must not exceed 20 kg.
• A veterinary passport and vaccination certificate are required.
• Pets may only be off-leash in the room where their owner is staying. In hotel corridors, animals must be on a leash and wear a muzzle.
• Pets are not permitted in the SPA center, restaurants, or sauna.
• Hotel linens and towels should not be used for pets.
• If any property damage occurs, the pet owner will be responsible for compensating the damages.
• The maximum number of pets allowed in one room is two.

Accommodation costs with pets for stays of up to 14 days are as follows:

• For cats or dogs: 1000 UAH.
• For other pets (such as rodents, birds, etc.): 150 UAH.

If your stay exceeds 14 days, the fee will be charged again.

Please note that accommodation with pets is only permitted with prior booking. You can make your reservationson our resort’s website or by calling the provided numbers. Be sure to inform the administrator in advance that you wish to book a room for your stay with a pet, including their size, so we can adequately prepare for your arrival.
