With a baby, you need infrastructure \u2013 warmth, amenities, the ability to quickly get help if something goes wrong.<\/p>\n<h2>What to bring: a checklist for parents<\/h2>\n<p>Packing for a baby on the road is a science in itself. Here is the minimum you shouldn&#039;t travel without:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">documents and health - the child&#039;s birth certificate, medical record or a statement from a pediatrician, medicine for fever and tummy ache, mosquito repellent for babies, sunscreen;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">sleep and comfort \u2013 a portable baby mattress or removable bumper, a favorite toy or pacifier, a familiar sleeping bag or blanket;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">food \u2013 if you are feeding formula, there should be enough food for the entire stay, a portable sterilizer, a thermos for heating water, favorite purees or cereals if the baby is already on complementary foods;<\/li>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">for the street - a stroller with large wheels, a sling or an ergo-backpack, which will be indispensable on walks, hats and clothes for different weather (in the mountains it can change quite quickly).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What to look for when choosing a resort<\/h2>\n<p>Not every place in the Carpathians is equally baby-friendly. There are a few things to check before booking:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li aria-level=\"1\">baby cot in the room \u2013 check in advance whether it is available and whether you need to pay extra.
